In 1702, the 41 st year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Yue Fengming opened Tongrentang Drug Store at Dashilan outside the Qianmen Gate in Beijing.

In 1723, the 1 st year of the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, the emperor appointed Tongrentang to supply medicine to the imperial palace.

In 1843, the 23 rd year of the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, Yue Pingquan led Tongrentang to prosperity again.

In March 1949, workers' representatives elected Yue Songsheng the manager of Tongrentang after the liberation of Beijing.

In 2002, Tongrentang Group invited the Development Research Center of the State Council to formulate the Research on the Development Strategy of China Beijing Tongrentang and launched the “1032” Project.
